The Ignorance Imperative
by Julian Gresser
As noted in my presentation on CHD.TV, we, the public, are witnessing an accelerating and aggressive multi-layered attack by the wireless industry. This is accompanied by a shift downward by their captive government agencies like the FCC and FDA that are evidencing even less willingness to concern themselves, much less to protect public health and the environment. Public interest grassroots organizations must be alert to this shift and prepare to rapidly adapt by an immediate and countervailing shift upward.
A distinct feature of this regressive phenomenon is the collective determination by the wireless purveyors and their corrupted bureaucrats and politicians willfully not to know; actively to suppress the evidence of massive and serious harms to the public from EMF radiation. This Ignorance Imperative has become the norm. It lies at the root of all BBILAN’s cases, and likely those of Children’s Health Defense (CHD) and other grassroots organizations. The Ignorance Imperative undermines the foundation of our democracy. It is deeply corrosive of freedom of scientific inquiry itself, as Dr. Devra Davis’ focused on in her article in The Hill asking why the National Toxicology Program (NTP) of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) will no longer study the biological or environmental impacts of cell phone radiofrequency radiation. On what possible scientific basis can the NIEHS justify its decision, except that it is following the wireless industry’s bidding to deny essential information to the public to protect itself and the environment from increasing radiation from 5G and soon, 6G wireless technology. Consistent with this stance, it should be noted that NIH, FDA, and NIEHS also did not even deign to respond to our letter of November 8, 2023 urging their serious consideration to establish a National Registry for Victims of EMF radiation poisoning which likely today already includes millions of people in the U.S.
We must understand the Ignorance Imperative for what it is—a deliberate attempt to impose an overwhelming burden of proof on the public. It is not a scientific judgment. It is a political calculation based on the ancient, long-refuted assertion that might makes right. In an age of compounding health and environmental crises, this value proposition will take millions of people--starting with poor and minority populations, but eventually all of us, right over the cliff. The Ignorance Imperative is anti-life, and in the end, inimical to our planet’s survival.
